Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of The Family Tracker mobile application.

The Family Tracker is owned and operated by Briliant Technologies SA.

By using the app, you agree to these Terms.

Service Description

The Family Tracker is a family safety and location-sharing mobile application that enables users to:

• Track location of family members
• Receive alerts and notifications
• Use safety features such as SOS
• Monitor activity and driving behavior

The website (thefamilytracker.com) is a presentation site only. All functionality is available within the mobile app.

No Web Accounts or Payments

• Accounts are created within the mobile app
• No accounts are created via the website
• All payments and subscriptions are handled through Apple App Store and Google Play
• We do not process payments directly

Subscriptions

Premium features are offered through in-app subscriptions.

• Premium: €23.99 per year, per family. Premium AI: €37.99 per year, per family. The stores bill in your local currency.
• Free plan: core safety features, free forever, for up to 2 family members.
• Premium includes a 60-day free trial offered through the App Store or Google Play. It gives full access and can be cancelled at any time during the trial at no cost; otherwise the paid subscription begins when the trial ends. Premium AI has no free trial. Upgrading from Premium to Premium AI charges only the price difference.

On iOS, the app is licensed under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement; these Terms govern the service and your subscription.

All billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are managed by Apple and Google.

User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Use the app lawfully
• Respect the privacy of others
• Ensure proper consent from family members

Family Member Consent

Users are responsible for ensuring that all individuals included in their family group:

• Are aware of the app usage
• Have given appropriate consent

For minors, consent must be given by a parent or legal guardian.

Location Tracking Responsibility

Users must ensure that location tracking is used in compliance with applicable laws.

The app must not be used for unlawful tracking, surveillance, or misuse.

Safety Disclaimer

The Family Tracker is not an emergency service.

It does not replace:

• Emergency services (112 / 911)
• Law enforcement
• Medical services

Users should always contact emergency services in critical situations.

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the app for illegal purposes
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Reverse engineer or exploit the app
• Disrupt or interfere with service functionality

Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and software related to The Family Tracker are owned by Briliant Technologies SA.

Users may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the service without permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The app is provided "as is"
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

This includes loss of data, missed alerts, or inaccuracies in location tracking.

Changes to the Service

We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
